Beverlee Compton

Beverlee Anne Tobin Compton passed March 2, 2018 at 96 years. Born is San Francisco, she attended Lowell High school and was a Tri Delt at University of Oregon. She lived in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Irvin Eugene Compton, of Gene Compton’s restaurants and moved to Corvallis, OR in 2010. She was fortunate to have her residence with the very caring and professional staff at Timberhill Place. She is survived by daughters, Leslie Lovett (Richard), Courtney Yeakel (James), Gene Newburgh (Kirk); grandchildren, Brian Lovett, James Lovett, Tobin Newburgh, Austin Yeakel, Tate Ogle, Abby Noe; and six great-grandchildren. Beverlee was a lover of world travel. Animals were her passion, especially dogs. She was active in animal rescue efforts, and volunteered for animal organizations and the American Cancer Society. Her favorite entertainment in the past decade was the Corvallis Community Band summer concerts in Central Park.
