Lois Annette (Snyder) Ware, 72, passed away April 4, 2019, after a sudden diagnosis and brief affliction with pancreatic cancer. She was born on September 10, 1946, the youngest of three children to Clifford and Helen “Bernice” (Ebersole) Snyder. Raised in Arcadia, Ohio, Lois spent the last 38 years cultivating a life she loved in Palm Springs, CA. Throughout her career, she served as administrative secretary for various firms. Upon retiring in 2009 from her position as film permit officer for the City of Palm Springs, she was recognized for her commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service. Lois touched many lives and will be remembered as a bright, shining light to her family and friends. Lois is survived by her brother, Gene Snyder, of Palm Springs; her daughter, Melissa (Ware) Maloney, son-in-law, Terry Maloney, and grandson, Ethan Maloney, all of Corvallis, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jan Snyder. At her request, no service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to any animal rescue charity. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical care teams at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Good Samaritan Hospital and Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House for their support in her final days.
