Raymond Leon Bogan Sr January 27, 1941 – June 30, 2013 On Sunday, June 30th, 2013, Ray Bogan, 72, of Philomath, Oregon went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ray was born in Caraway, Arkansas January 27, 1941, to Omel and Edna Bogan (Stevens). Ray was a lifelong motorcycle and automobile enthusiast, building his first custom Harley at the age of 17. Throughout his lifetime he built countless custom bikes and choppers. He built his last bike at the age of 70 after suffering from a heart attack. He continued riding until he was 71. Ray resided in the Seattle area prior to moving to Philomath 7 years ago. He is survived by his children Daniel Bogan, Deanna Bogan, Ray Bogan Jr, Robyn Bogan of Roseburg OR, Harlene Bogan, Carrie Bogan and Jasmine Bogan, 19 grandchildren, sister Marie Bogan Langager DiVietrio, and brother Harold Bogan. I would like to thank the caregivers at His House Adult Fostercare for taking such great care of my dad in his final days. – Carrie Bogan The funeral service will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday, July 2nd at DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home and Crematory, 815 NW Buchanan Ave, Corvallis.
