May 8, 1939 — July 14, 2017 Terry lost his battle with COPD and passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife Judy. Terry was born in Chanute, Kansas to Robert “Dale” and Helen Oshel. He was the older of two children, Terry & Fran. Terry attended school up to his junior year in Chanute, Kansas. His senior year the family moved to Lancaster, California. He graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1957. He enlisted in the Navy soon after graduation. While enlisted he served on the USS John Willis and the USS Kretchmer. He was honorably discharged in 1961 in Newport, Rhode Island. Terry moved to Eugene where he met Gale and they were married in 1965 at River Road Baptist Church. They had two children, Cindy and Wesley. They moved to Corvallis so Terry could attend Oregon State University. Terry passed the state exam to get his Mechanical Engineering License, he was employed at Neptune Microflock in Corvallis and Burelbach industries in Rickreall. Terry loved playing pool, dancing, singing karaoke, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Terry married again in 1983 to Marvene and they spent many wonderful years together. Marvene passed away in 2005. Terry met another wonderful lady and married Judy in April of 2006. They loved singing karaoke, traveling to new places, and watching their favorite TV shows together. Terry is survived by his wife Judy; sister Fran; daughter Cindy; son Wesley; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will be holding a celebration of life service to honor Terry at 1 p.m. August 19 at Waterloo Park, shelter #3 in Lebanon. All are welcome to come and celebrate and remember a great man!
