Warren Max Nunn Jr
July 8, 1951 - January 12, 2020
Warren Max Nunn Jr died Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the age of 68 at his home in Philomath, Oregon. Warren was born in Corvallis, Oregon, on July 8, 1951, to Warren Max Nunn Sr and Juanita June (Mahin) Nunn. After graduating from Corvallis High School in 1969, he married Lori Lee Lewis on September 17, 1971, in Corvallis, then served in the Army from 1971-1974 in Germany during the Vietnam War. He had two sons and two daughters and taught them all to be tough, including how to use tools and ride motorcycles. After starting his family, he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which was a large part of his adult life. He also loved movies, especially westerns and war flicks, and almost always wore cowboy attire (even at church). He worked in a plywood mill for many years, then became an electrician for the remainder of his career. He was generous, innovative, and humorous (he had the best one-liners). He unselfishly served others; he was truly a jack of all trades. Survivors include his wife Lori; sister Mary (Steve Beugli) Nunn (Eloy, AZ); children Ricky Nunn (Philomath, OR), Carrie (Darin) Roberts (Meridian, ID), Lance (Jaylyn) Nunn (Oregon City, OR), and Randa Nunn (Salt Lake City, UT), as well as 12 grandchildren.
