Noah Christopher Roberts

Noah Christopher Roberts, of Albany, Oregon, passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 21. He was born on June 14, 2005, in Atlanta, Georgia. Noah graduated from Fossil Ridge High School and went on to attend Oregon State University. Before discovering his love for disc golf in 2020, Noah's curiosity and energy showed up in all kinds of ways. He was into yoyo tricks and solving Rubik's cubes, and he enjoyed the occasional fishing and camping trip. Once he discovered disc golf from his uncle Shane, though, it became his true passion. He pursued the sport with dedication and skill, earning several awards at professional disc golf tournaments. As president of the OSU Disc Golf Club, he poured tremendous time and energy into the club he loved, working to make it better for every member. Noah loved adventure and the outdoors, and one of his proudest memories was hiking Mount Elbert with his dad. He also had a bit of a need for speed — with a heavy foot on the gas pedal that went through three cars — though his heart always belonged to his first, a blue Mini Cooper he lovingly named Maggie. He was a mama’s boy through and through, and the promise of something fresh out of the oven could always draw him home. And no matter how far he wandered, he always had a soft spot for Gracie, the family cat. But more than his talents and adventures, Noah was known for his huge heart. He cared deeply about the people around him, and his faith as a Christian was an important part of his identity. That generosity of spirit touched everyone who knew him. Noah is survived by his loving parents, Nicholas and Michelle Roberts, and his older sister, Madison Roberts. On his father's side, he is survived by his grandparents, Ron and Theresa Roberts; his great-grandmother, Jean Tucker; his uncle Jason Roberts and aunt Jennifer Roberts; his aunt Sara Roberts and uncle Shane Stokes; and his cousins, Landon and Aria Roberts. On his mother's side, he is survived by his grandparents, Mike and Linda Hoover; his aunt Laura Hoover; his aunt Rebecca Turner and uncle Scott Turner; and his cousin Harper Hoover. He is also survived by many other extended family members, along with the numerous friends who supported and loved him. A celebration of life will be held on September 26, 2026, at Adair Park in Albany, Oregon, where family and friends are invited to gather and honor Noah's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Noah's memory to a mental health organization supporting young people, such as Active Minds, the JED Foundation, or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
